Jerry Kanawyer (USA) Jerry Kanawyer has been a part of Team Vortex since the beginning. Jerry is a 5 time National Barefoot Champion and at one point held the Men's open division slalom record and Men's 2 trick record. Jerry brings his needed experience to the team along with a great personality that a lot of young footers look up to.
Now competing in the senior division he is still aggressive and always making a consistent appearance. Check out his skills in the new video Soul by Vortex Wetsuits and you will see Jerry is not afraid to pull some old tricks out of the bag, while holding on by the skin of his teeth (literally).
Jerry is also very involved in the barefoot community. He competes at local and national events, judges at several tournaments, and runs his own business as a Retailer for Vortex Wetsuits and other watersports products and accessories.
