The Fusion jumpsuit is well padded but not restrictive, it makes me feel confident and safe for jumping. The Helix V2 is the most flexible barefoot suit I've ever worn. It feels just like a second skin.
Patrick Wehner (Germany/France) One of Vortex Wetsuits top international athletes, Patrick Wehner, currently lives and trains in Gundershoffen, France. He started skiing on the Rhein river right at the border between France and Germany at the age of six and barefooting began barefooting by eight. At that time, he was skiing in a German club and it was mainly for amateur shows and recreation. But barefooting took the priority as his dad started coaching him intensely. In 1990, Patrick won his first national overall title.
In 1998, Patrick's first year as a member of the French Team proved to be a big success and opened many eyes to his fellow competitors on a world level. Patrick would win 2 silver medals in tricks and the overall category. In 2001 Patrick again would set the bench mark by setting a world record in the tricks division.
Looking back over his 20 year long barefoot career Patrick has piled up a nice collection of trophies for his new home. Winning a World Trick title, 7 European overall titles, setting a World Trick record and several European records in each discipline. Today Patrick is currently 3rd in the World Overall and the current European Trick and Slalom champion.
